19 May A new call for tender for internationalisation

A new call for tender to boost internationalisation is coming soon for Tuscan businesses. The call for tender, approved by the Regional Government, is intended for micro, small and medium businesses and is aimed at creating investment projects for internationalisation in implementation of POR CReO Fesr 2014-2020.

For the first time funds will also go to tourism businesses and not only manufacturing companies. The call for tender, with application deadline May 31, is allocating almost 1.5 million Euro, with a commitment made by the Regional government to reach 5 million Euro for this year.

The beneficiaries will be micro, small and medium businesses applying individually or in co-operation, namely temporary business networks (Rti) , business networks with legal status (Network-Entity), business networks without legal status (Network-Contract), consortia and consortium businesses. Co-operative forms must involve at least three businesses.

Admissible activities and expenses are those related to participating in international trade fairs and shows, shows for the promotion of products and services on international markets through the use of offices or show rooms abroad, promotional services, specialistic support for internationalisation and trade innovation for the feasibility of entering new markets.

Applications can only be submitted on-line through the Sviluppo Toscana platform.

“The criteria used to select the requests for aid actually favour business which, by overcoming the logic of competition, join forces to present themselves abroad, highlights Marinoni, Director of Confcommercio Toscana, “consortia and Temporary Business Associations (known as ATI in Italy) will have top priority in the allocation of the funds, which amount to approximately three million Euro, to be divided over the three-year period of 2016-2018”.
